Jordan’s tourism revenues reach $462 million in first two months of 2022 - CBJ

The Kingdom’s tourism revenues witnessed an increase of about $306.3 million during the first two months of 2022 compared with the same period in 2021 to reach $462.3 million, data from the Central Bank of Jordan showed.

The improvement was due to an increase in the number of tourists during these two months by about 256,000 to reach a total of 387,000 tourists.

Tourism revenues from Jordanian expatriates accounted for 39.5 per cent of the total income, followed by tourists from Arab countries (except Gulf Cooperation Council countries) contributing 23.4 per cent.
