Ammon News -

Local banks have decided to postpone payments on loans granted to individuals for the month of April, which will coincide this year with the holy month of Ramadan, the Association of Banks in Jordan (ABJ) announced on Monday, Petra reported.

In a statement, ABJ Director-General Maher Mahrooq said the move is part of the social responsibility of local banks, and reflects their commitment to alleviating financial burdens on citizens during the fasting month.

While affirming that there will be no payment delay fines, Mahrooq indicated that those who do not wish to have their April installments postponed should call lenders.
