Food imports not impacted by Ukraine crisis, says traders association head

Ammon News - Food prices spiked in the local market, but imports have not ceased as a result of the Ukraine crisis, Foodstuff Traders Association President Khalil Haj Tawfiq said.

He told a press conference on Monday that food items remained in sufficient supply although the prices of staple commodities, mainly vegetable oil, rice, sugar and powder milk soared.
