JMEA: Local exchange market back to normal since beginning of 2022

Ammon News - President of the Jordanian Money Exchange Association (JMEA) Abdulsalam Saudi , said the local exchange market has resumed its normal activity since the beginning of 2022, relative to this period each year.

In an interview with "Petra," on Saturday, he referred to a "noticeable" improvement in expat remittances to Jordan, from the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the United States.

Meanwhile, he noted outbound remittances sent from the Kingdom remained "stable," however an increase on the related activities was recorded as summer is approaching.
