Ammon News - Relatively cold weather conditions are forecast to prevail in most parts of the country, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Temperatures are expected to rise 2-4 degrees above annual average on Friday, bringing pleasant weather conditions countrywide, with clouds at different altitudes and southeasterly moderate winds.

On Saturday, cold weather will make a comeback as the Kingdom will be affected by unstable conditions, bringing scattered showers in different regions that will turn into heavy downpours in the afternoon, mainly in the southern and eastern parts.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman today will range between 16 degrees Celsius, dipping into 7C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 22C, dropping to 12C during night hours.
