UAE, Turkey discuss cementing ties, sign bilateral agreements

Ammon News - United Arab Emirates Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations.

In a tweet on Twitter after the meeting, which took place at Expo 2020 Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed pointed to great prospects in economic and developmental relations between the UAE and Turkey, expressing optimism that the two countries will lead efforts to achieve stability and prosperity in the region.

On the sidelines of Erdogan's official visit to the Emirates, which he began in Abu Dhabi yesterday, the two countries signed 13 memoranda of understanding, agreements and letters of intent on cooperation in investment, industry, health and other fields.
