Aircraft movement through QAIA drops by 7pct in January

Ammon News - The Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) handled a total of 4,630 inbound and outbound aircraft movements (ACM) in January of 2022, down 7 percent from 2,038 ACM in December of 2021, according to Haitham Misto, Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).

Misto said on Monday that passenger traffic shot up by 160 percent in January to a total of about 396,000 travellers compared to 152,000 travellers in December of 2021.

Daily inbound and outbound flights in January of the current year, according to Misto, reached 150, compared to 160 flights made in December of 2021.
