Ammon News - Production volume of raw phosphate saw a record level and a "remarkable and unprecedented" rise in 2021, the Jordan Phosphate Mining Company (JPMC) announced on Thursday.
In a JPMC statement, the company said it produced 10 million tonnes of phosphate in 2021, adding that this quantity is the "largest in the company's history since its establishment in 1953."
The company, within the framework of its plans, is working to reach a production and marketing capacity of 13 million tonnes of phosphate over the next few years, according to the statement.
