It said that soldiers applied the rules of engagement, arrested the infiltrator and referred him to the competent authorities. The armed forces vowed to stand firmly against anyone trying to undermine the security of the Kingdom and its people, apply new rules of engagement and deal with full force with any attempt at infiltration or smuggling.

Ammon News - Eastern Military Zone troops Tuesday morning arrested a man who tried to infiltrate the border and cross to Syria from Jordan, according to a source at the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army Command Headquarters.

It said that soldiers applied the rules of engagement, arrested the infiltrator and referred him to the competent authorities.
