The weather department warned of the danger of fog-caused low horizontal visibility, and of slippery roads in areas witnessing rainfall, especially over hilltops and parts of the Badia. Similar cold weather will prevail on Wednesday and Thursday despite a slight rise in mercury levels, with southeasterly moderate winds, picking up at times in the desert. Today, the maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman will range from 11Celsius degrees to 3C during night, while highs in western Amman will be 9C and lows at 2C. The Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 19C, dropping to 10C at night hours.
