PM conveys message from King to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince

Ammon News - Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Saturday conveyed a verbal message from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who welcomed him in Abu Dhabi.

In his message, the King wished the United Arab Emirates continued progress and prosperity, expressing his keenness on further cementing the brotherly relations between the two countries in various fields. He also reiterated Jordan's solidarity with the UAE, saying the Emirates' security is part of Jordan's security.

During the meeting, Khasawneh emphasized Jordan's condemnation of terrorist attacks that targeted the UAE, and said Jordan stands with the brothers in the UAE in the face of any attacks targeting the security and safety of their country.

The Prime Minister stressed the deep and strategic relations between the two countries, and the need to further strengthen them for the service of their interests and the two brotherly peoples.

Sheikh Mohammad conveyed to the prime minister his greetings and good wishes to His Majesty King Abdullah, stressing the strategic relations between the two countries.

The two sides agreed to continue efforts to strengthen relations in various fields and pursue consultation on Arab, regional and international issues.

The Prime Minister arrived in Abu Dhabi earlier in the day on a brief working visit, during which he met with a number of UAE officials on bilateral relations, issues of common interest and economic and investment ties.

Jordanian ambassador to the UAE Nassar Habashneh attended the meeting.
