Ammon News - Ukrainian Ambassador Myroslava Shcherbatiuk said Saturday that her country's relations with Jordan are on track for more cooperation in the various fields.

She told reporters that the two countries are celebrating this year the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations, which enabled robust bilateral ties in trade, economic, political, military and security fields.

The two countries share a common vision on a number of crucial issues and meet the requirements for a stronger partnership, especially in the areas of food security, economic ties, security and defence, she said, stressing that the two countries stand firmly against terrorism and extremism and advocate for tolerance and international law.

The envoy stressed that Ukraine considers Jordan a reliable partner, and that it will support the Kingdom in all fields, especially education and food security, to enhance the Kingdom's pivotal role in the region.

She said that Ukraine today observes National Unity Day, which marks the anniversary of the unification of eastern and western Ukraine in 1919.
