Cold weather forecast Saturday, unstable conditions tomorrow-JMD

Ammon News - The weather on Saturday will be relatively cold almost countrywide and fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly moderate winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) report.
On Sunday, similar weather is forecast to continue during almost countrywide as a day earlier. However gradually at night hours, the Kingdom is affected by a state of atmospheric instability.
Scattered showers of rain will hit the Kingdom's southern regions, including the city of Aqaba, which could be occasionally heavy, accompanied by thunder and hail. The downpour is then expected to envelope the Kingdom's various areas, the JMD said.
As for Monday, a "significant" drop in mercury is forecast, and the weather will be partly cloudy and cold almost countrywide, with showers of rain in the Kingdom's eastern areas at dawn hours, the JMD pointed out.
Also on Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures in eastern Amman are set to range between 17 Celsius degrees to 7C, while Amman's west will see 16C at daytime, dipping into 5C at night. The Gulf of Aqaba will see a fair 24C, sliding to 12C during night hours.
