Home Jordan News Army thwarts drug smuggling attempt using drone 23-09-2024 11:36 AM Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone in coordination with the military security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, thwarted at dawn on Monday an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotics loaded by a drone, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army said. The source noted the rules of engagement were applied, leading to the downing of the drones inside Jordanian territory. A quantity of narcotics was found, and the seized items were transferred to the competent authorities, the source added. The source stressed that the JAF will continue to deal with all force and firmness with any threat on the border fronts, and any efforts aimed at bringing these narcotic substances to the sons of the Kingdom and influencing its citizens.

Ammon News - The Southern Military Zone in coordination with the military security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, thwarted at dawn on Monday an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotics loaded by a drone, a responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army said.
