House passes constitutional amendment on lawmaker resignation

Ammon News - The Lower House of Parliament on Wednesday passed an amendment to Article 72 of the Constitution, which would make the resignation of any lawmaker effective from the date of its submission, "in order to remove any obstacles preventing lawmakers from participation in governments, and to enhance the stability of parliamentary work".

A majority of 100 MPs voted for the amendment.
