Agricultural credit fund okays JD48mln lending plan for 2022

Ammon News - The Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC) on Sunday approved a JD48 million lending plan for 2022, up by JD3 million compared with the amount earmarked for 2021.

In a meeting chaired by Minister of Agriculture Khaled Huniefat, the ACC board endorsed a recommendation to continue extending interest-free loans to "quality plant production" projects as well to livestock breeders to help them procure fodder.

The credit line will also target the use of cocoons in fruit tree planting and organic farming, in addition to entrepreneurial projects.
