Ammon News - Senate President Faisal Fayez on Tuesday discussed with Norway's Ambassador in Amman Espen Lindback aspects of Jordanian- Norwegian relations and ways to boost them in various domains, especially in political and economic fields, and to increase trade cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also tackled the status quo in the Middle East, mainly the Palestinian cause and the Syrian crisis.

During the meeting, Fayez called on the Norwegian side to increase investments in Jordan and to prop up water, tourism and clean energy generation projects. He also highlighted Jordan's unwavering stance towards regional issues and efforts exerted to resolve conflicts and bring about peace and stability.

For his part, the ambassador praised Jordan's key role, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, to achieve security and stability in the region, expressing his country's pride in the Jordanian- Norwegian relations.
