Ammon News - Jordanian Businessman, Khaldoun Al Tabari and his daughter have been acquitted by Amman courts with regards to all accusations against them by the Jordanian Public Prosecutor at the request of the UAE official authorities.

Accordingly, Khaldoun Tabari has released a statement after the decisions of courts.

Here is the full statement by Khaldoun Tabari:

I am pleased to confirm that the Jordanian courts have acquitted me of all allegations and charges.

For several years now, I have been facing parallel criminal and commercial allegations in the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. On the request of DSI PJSC the UAE public prosecutor in June 2018 froze my assets and bank accounts, started an investigation and issued an Interpol red notice for my extradition to the UAE.

Following the rejection of the extradition by the Preliminary and supreme courts in Jordan I was prosecuted by the Jordanian public prosecutor in line with the bilateral government agreements. The Jordanian preliminary court and supreme over a 20-month period declared my innocence acquitted me of all charges.
I have also been removed off the Interpol red notice and free to travel.

This recent Jordanian Court Judgment relates to the same set of 15 allegations that were made against me in the UAE which remain under investigation. The Courts in Jordan have rejected these complaints as unfounded and upheld my innocence.

I do not expect that the findings of the UAE will be any different. The facts are the same and they are clear now. I never doubted that the truth would ultimately be revealed when justice takes its course, and the rule of law is upheld.

Justice was served and the esteemed Courts of Jordan finally and unequivocally rejected all requests, as the complaints are dismissed and baseless.

Apart from the above we have won the majority of commercial cases in Dubai and few cases are awaiting their outcome in the court system.
I have also won 2 cases against DSI PJSC in the Cassation Courts of the UAE for a value of AED 23 MN and unable to collect.

Additionally I won against Tabarak investments for their alleged fraud claim in selling my shares and am yet to be reimbursed all legal fees as directed by the cassation courts of the UAE.

This judgment made by the Courts of Jordan serves to confirm that Justice will prevail. I remain confident of my innocent position and the dismissal of all allegations.
