Mutah University, GIZ discuss cooperation

Ammon News - An official in the Mutah University met Monday with a delegation from the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Vice President for Research, Development and International Relations, Marwan Al-Mousa, discussed ways of cooperation, as part of GIZ's Entrepreneurship and Capacity Development Project for Employment.

Al-Mousa highlighted the role of the university, located in southern Jordan, in building international partnerships with various international educational institutions and its keenness to build academic and research relations that serve the university’s aspirations to enhance its academic and research reputation, stressing the university’s interest in projects implemented by GIZ, especially its project to support entrepreneurship, qualify young people and develop their skills.

For its part, the visiting delegation highlighted the agency's plans to support entrepreneurship and innovation programs, especially in universities, lauding Mutah University's role in supporting community and technical entrepreneurial projects aimed at mitigating poverty and unemployment.
