Culture minister, Australian envoy talk cooperation, future projects

Ammon News - Culture Minister Haifa Najjar and Australian Ambassador to Jordan Bernard Lynch on Sunday discussed remotely ways to enhance cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries.

According to a ministry's statement, Najjar reviewed the reality of Jordanian-Australian cultural relations, stressing the ministry's interest in enhancing joint ties at various levels.

The envoy, for his part, affirmed his country's interest in strengthening friendship and cooperation relations with Jordan, especially in cultural areas, calling on Najjar to visit the Australian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The discussions also went over steps to print the manuscript: "Links Formed Under Fire / Celebrating an Enduring Partnership" by the Ministry of Culture, celebrating 100 years of Jordanian-Australian partnership, the statement added.

The Australian embassy earlier presented the manuscript to the Jordanian ministry to edit and translate it into Arabic, which is scheduled to be released in a joint ceremony for this occasion.
