Ammon News - China will host the fourth international import expo (CIIE) in Shanghai from Nov. 5 to 10.

The booth construction and exhibit arrangement was completed on Tuesday, Xinhua reported.

Nearly 3000 businesses from 127 countries and regions will attend the event.

A total of 58 countries and 3 international organizations will join the online country exhibition during the expo.

This year’s CIIE has an exhibition area of more than 360000 square meters, according to Xinhua.

Over 80% of fortune 500 companies and industry leaders from the last year will return to the global trade event.

The vice President and business unit Head of vaccines for GSK China, Peggy Fung said that “We will bring many innovative products, cooperation and models to this year’s CIIE. We hope to know more partners at this event and jointly help achieve the “Healthy China 2030” initiative”.

For his part, the President of Honeywell Global High Growth Regions, Shane Tedjarati said that the expo is a World class platform for business opportunities, indicating that for Honeywell “as participating the very first time, we’ve been able to meet new partners and discover new business opportunities. We can introduce our innovative technologies and solutions that cater to the Chinese market”.

Tedjarati added that “It’s a great platform, this is the fourth consecutive year for Honeywell to join the event. We’ve got the bigger booth this time and that doubles from what we had last year. So it should give you a perspective that we are redoubling our efforts. It’s time for this platform to even get further prominence”.
