Ammon News - Two Jordanian entrepreneurs announced the establishment of the Maqsam platform, the region’s first Arabic cloud business communication suite.

Sinan Taifour and Fouad Jeryes, created a cloud telephony solution that can act as a non-complex cloud contact center solution for SMEs and also used for internal business operations, according to a statement.

Taifour and Jeryes identified a major gap in the MENA region when it came to cloud communications and noticed that many international providers were unable to tackle the complexities of the region, and most importantly, the Arabic language interface was virtually nonexistent, the statement said.

A major issue given that 90% of the region’s businesses prefer the Arabic language for their employees as well as customers. Taifour and Jeryes, and their team of seasoned engineers, went on to create a cloud telephony solution that can act as a non-complex cloud contact center solution for SMEs and also used for internal business operations, the statement explained.

The Maqsam platform, built by specialized engineers and Arabic user journey experts, was designed with four main tenets: simple, flexible, reliable, and insightful. Maqsam, is multilingual to give users added flexibility in different markets and also issues local phone numbers to make it easier for customers to contact businesses, regardless of their headquarters, according to the platform's Co-founder and CEO, Sinan Taifour.

He said, "We are an Arab company building solutions for an Arab world. We understand business interactions in the region and how they are different, we are in contact with the people, and we speak the same language as other SME founders. Maqsam gives companies, regardless of their size, access to an affordable, easily and instantly implementable cloud contact solution so they can manage their customer channels efficiently and easily."

"When we established Maqsam, we set out to break down barriers for startups and SMEs in the region. Having access to powerful technology that can help their businesses scale does not need to be expensive nor does it need to be a template that doesn’t quite meet all their needs. The beauty of our platform is its flexibility and customization, meaning it can be tailored to any operation and it can grow and change with that business," Co-founder and Director of Business, Fouad Jeryes, said.

"We have witnessed immense demand from across the entire region for our Arabic cloud communication tools. We are excited to see this demand because it means there are many startups and SMEs who are actively leveraging technology to get around traditional barriers and borders. To these startups we want to tell them that we understand, we were there, and now we are here for you," Jeryes concluded.
