JEBA, Polish delegation talk economic, investment cooperation

Ammon News - The Jordan Europe Business Association (JEBA) discussed on Wednesday, with a delegation from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ways to boost the two countries' economic relations to "higher" levels.

According to a JEBA press statement, its head, Jamal Badran, called on strengthening the two countries' trade exchanges, especially amid the pandemic-induced repercussions and attracting Polish expertise to the Kingdom in the smart cities field.

During the meeting, which was organized by JEBA in cooperation with the Polish embassy in Amman, Badran stressed the need to harness participation of Jordanian and Polish companies in the Dubai Expo 2020, which will open early next month, to establish trade partnerships.

Speaking at the meeting, Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Pawel Jablonski, affirmed his country's desire to enhance investment opportunities with Jordan, especially in information and telecom technology, smart cities, cyber security, artificial intelligence and renewable energy, in addition to activating bilateral agreements and import and export movement.

JEBA Vice President, Ali Murad, referred to reviving Jordan's tourism sector and the need to cooperate with telecom companies and the information technology sector.
For his part, JEBA Board Member, Ramzi Mona, urged Polish companies to visit the association's website to check economic opportunities available in the Kingdom.
