Industrial Production Index up 18.5% in 2020

Ammon News - The General Industrial Production Index spiked by 18.59 percent in the January-July period of 2021, amounting to 89.27 points against 75.28 points during the same period last year, the latest figures showed, Jordan News Agency reported.

The General Industrial Production Index for July of 2021 picked up by 5.68 percent, reaching 94.86 points compared to 89.77 during the same month of 2020, a report issued by the Department of Statistics (DoS) indicated Tuesday, as reported by Petra.

On a monthly level, the General Industrial Production Index for July of 2021 rose by 1.49 percent, reaching 94.86 points against 93.47 in June of the same year.
