The minister, at a meeting with representative of the clothing, footwear, and fabric sector in the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Asaad Qawasmi and JEDCO's CEO, Abdul Fattah Kayed, discussed GSC's current programs and future plans, praised its efforts and services in the garment design field.
Kayed, for his part, said the GSC provides "distinguished" services in the design and training areas for those wishing to join the garment sector, pointing to JEDCO's readiness to provide "possible" support to the center to develop its business.
Qawasmi said GSC's vision and plan is underway, which needs "appropriate" support and funding, pointing to the importance of networking fashion designers and local garment factories, and creating new and innovative designs that meet local market's needs and take into account modern fashion trends.
