Toward Saturday, a further drop in temperatures is predicted with similar weather conditions and a chance of light spotty showers in the northern regions, the department further said. The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom on Thursday will range between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 18C or even 15C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury reaching a high of 39C and a low of 26C.
