Georgian president accepts credentials of new Jordanian ambassador

Ammon News - Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has accepted credentials of the Jordanian non-resident ambassador to Georgia, Sami Ghosheh, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.

Speaking during a ceremony to present credentials on Wednesday, Ghosheh conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah II's wishes to President Zourabichvili for continued health, and the friendly Georgian people further progress and prosperity.

President Zourabichvili, for her part, praised the "deep-rooted" relations between the two friendly countries, and her keenness to enhance cooperation at various levels.

In separate meetings in Tiblisi, Ghosheh discussed with Georgian officials prospects for enhancing joint cooperation and ways to strengthen relations in various fields.
