Hneifat, in a press statement on Sunday, noted quantity of olive harvest 2021 has dropped due to climate factors, varying temperature levels during the blooming period, and drought in Jordan's southern regions, adding that the production, however, remains "close" to the average. The government, he noted, worked to allocate JD1 for he purpose of supporting exports of surplus olive oil to avoid pile-up and address marketing distortions.
