International oil derivatives prices drop in 3rd week of August

Ammon News - Prices of oil derivatives in international markets slightly dropped during the third week of August, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

According to the data, the price of 90-octane gasoline declined by 4.5% percent, going from $680.5 to $649.9 per ton, while the price of 95-octane gasoline went down from $704.2 in the second week to $670.6 per ton in the third week, a decrease of 4.8 percent.

Diesel prices also fell by 3.7 percent going from $565.6 per ton to $544.8, while the prices of kerosene dropped by 3.4 percent, from $590 to $570.2.

The prices of liquefied gas for May risen by 5.8 per cent, going from $620 to $656.3 per ton.

Benchmark Brent crude prices declined in the third week of the current month, from $71 to $68.6 per barrel.
