Ammon News - The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) apprehended two drug dealers in possession of firearms and large quantities of narcotics in the northern Badia area, Jordan News Agency Petra reported.

Spokesman for the Public Security Department said in a statement on Monday said that the AND personnel received a tip-off about two individuals, previously convicted with drug-related charges, possessing large quantities of drugs.

Officers confirmed their whereabouts and raided two separate storage locations in an unpopulated area in the northern Badia. Around 53,000 narcotic pills and 56 block of Hashish were seized, in addition to three firearms, the spokesperson added.
