Ammon News - Jordan’s trade balance surplus with the U.S. stood at JD142 million in the first five months of 2021, according to a monthly report issued on Sunday by the Department of Statistics (DoS).
During the January-May period of 2021, the Kingdom's national exports to the U.S. market rose by 17.7 percent to reach JD535.6 million against JD454.9 million in the same period of 2020, the report's figures showed.
In turn, the Kingdom's imports from the U.S. stood at JD 393.2 million in the same reporting period, signaling an increase of 2.0 percent compared with the JD385.5 million recorded in the same period of the last year.
