Ammon News - President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Nael Kabariti on Wednesday discussed with Omani Ambassador Helal al-Mumari mechanisms for developing economic relations and boosting trade exchange and the role of the private sector.
According to a press release by the JCC, Kabariti stressed the need to enhance trade and investment cooperation and increase efforts to recover from the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, pointing to steps the government had taken to facilitate travelling measures, especially for individuals coming in from the Arab Gulf countries.
He underscored the JCC's commitment to cooperating with the Omani embassy to boost tourism and exchange information on the key sectors and opportunities available in the two countries to improve trade exchange.
The envoy said that his country is looking forward to a "better future for economic relations with the Kingdom," and increasing the volume of trade and stimulating the private sector to invest in projects that serve the economies of the two countries.
He pointed out the importance of business visits as well as coordination for an upcoming meeting between business owners from both sides to be introduced to economic opportunities.
