Ammon News - Oil prices dropped at the opening of the US global market on Monday heading to incurring the first loss in the last four days.
The drop comes as a result of renewed concerns about the levels of global demand for fuel, due to the hike in Coronavirus infections in some countries and the tightening lockdown and isolation measures, in addition to the massive floods that hit China in the central and eastern parts of the country.
According to the "Wall Street Journal", US crude fell by more than 0.2 percent to the level of $70.59, from the opening level at $72.06, and recorded the highest level at $72.40, while Brent crude fell by 1.9 percent to the level of $72.78 a barrel, from the opening level at $74.15, and the highest level was recorded at $74.48.
