Public Security Director Maj. Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh, on Sunday met with UAE's Ambassador to Jordan, Ahmad Al-Balushi, and the accompanying delegation.
Both officials discussed ways to bolster ties in a way that contributes to the development of law enforcement and crime-fighting agencies in the two brotherly countries.
In the meeting, Maj. Gen. Hawatmeh lauded ties between both countries' public security agencies, which reflects the depth of the brotherly relationship between the Kingdom, and the leadership and people of the UAE.
Hawatmeh stressed the Public Security Directorate (PSD)'s keenness to enhance joint Arab cooperation and coordination, which allows access to the best security and police expertise, noting that the PSD presents all its expertise before Arab brothers.
Ambassador Al-Balushi, in turn, lauded the PSD's good reputation at local and international levels.
He underscored the importance of communication and coordination between the security services in both countries to serve citizens, pointing out to the historical relationship that unites the leaderships of the two countries and the Jordanian and Emirati peoples.
