Nigerian delegation visits pharmaceutical manufacturer in Amman

Ammon News - A Nigerian delegation comprising government officials, politicians and businessmen on Monday visited the Jordan-Sweden Medical and Sterilization Company (JOSWE) in Amman to explore potential avenues for cooperation in the pharmaceutical domain.

According to a JOSWE statement, the delegation included representatives of the Nigerian heath, education and transport sectors, trade and industry chambers as well as the country's ambassador in Amman, Farouk Malami Yabo.

JOSWE CEO Muhammad Shahin told a meeting with the delegation that Jordan's pharmaceutical industry provides 70 per cent of local market demand, noting that his company has a Nigeria branch that produces about 50 medical brands.
