Deputizing for King, Adaileh attends opening ceremony of Egypt's July 3 naval base

Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah, Kingdom's Ambassador to Egypt, Amjad Adaileh, participated in the opening ceremony of the (July 3) naval base, which was sponsored by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday.

The base, the opening ceremony of which was attended by representatives of heads of state, diplomats and military leaders, is located in the Jarjoub area of Matrouh Governorate on the northwest coast of Egypt, to be added to the Egyptian naval bases system.

The July 3 base is considered the latest Egyptian military base overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It includes many advanced facilities, training fields, joint operations, and a naval observation tower. It is also used in addition to military tasks in combating smuggling and limiting illegal immigration.

Under the leadership and directives of King Abdullah and President El Sisi, Jordanian-Egyptian relations are witnessing a remarkable development that includes various fields of bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the context of integration and coordination with Arab countries and on regional issues.
