Ammon News - The Kingdom on Wednesday is expected to remain under the impact of a hot air mass, pushing mercury levels 3-5 degrees above seasonal average and bringing hot weather in the Badia, while it will be relatively hot in the highlands and the plains.
The southernmost Red Sea port of Aqaba and the Jordan Valley will continue to reel under scorching weather as daytime temperatures will range between 42 and 43 degrees Celsius, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom today will range between 33 and 36 degrees, dropping at night to 24C or even 18C in the southern highlands, the JMD added.
The department also warned against direct exposure to sunlight during daytime.
