Global fuel prices continue to rise in 4th week of June

Ammon News - The prices of oil derivatives in global markets have continued to rise in the fourth week of June, according to data released on Monday by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

The data showed that the price of 90-octane gasoline went up by 2.8 percent, going from $669.2 per ton in third week of June to $687.9 in the fourth week, while the price of 95-octane gasoline rose from $684.8 per ton to $704.9, an increase by 2.9 percent.

Diesel prices also increased by 1.2 percent, going from $584.3 per ton to $591.3, while the prices of kerosene also rose by 1.3 percent, from $605.5 to $613.6 per ton.

The prices of liquefied gas for June went up by 9.6 per cent, going from $480 to $526.3 to per ton.

Benchmark Brent crude prices went up from $73.2 in the third week to $75.4 per barrel at the end of the month.
