Ammon News - Mamon Al-Adwan - The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) suspended the work of 143 food establishments since the beginning of the year, according to a statement released by JFDA on Saturday.
JFDA said that monitoring units have made 20755 tours since the beginning of the year, and closed down 143 establishments due to violating food health standards, the statement added.
JFDA received nearly 737 complaints, and followed up on all the cases, closing establishments that were violating and issuing warnings for others.
