Ammon News - The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) announced on Monday that it sealed a contract with a U.S.-based fertilizers company to supply it with 400,000 tons of diammonium phosphate (DAP), the world's most-widely used phosphorus fertilizer.
Delivery will start in July through February next year, the company said in a brief statement published on the Amman Stock Exchange website, indicating that the contracted quantity makes up the company's total DAP output for the current year.
It added that the highly-sought after fertilizer is intended for distribution in Northern and Southern American markets.
