Royal Decree gives Al Fayez rank of minister

Ammon News - AMMAN - A Royal Decree was issued on Wednesday giving Chief of Royal Protocol Amer Talal Mithqal Fayez the rank and salary of a minister.

Fayez, who was appointed chief of Royal Protocol on November 2 last year, graduated with a BA degree in political science from the University of Jordan in 1990.

He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1991 and was posted to the Jordanian embassy in Washington where he served until 1997.

Fayez then joined the Royal Court where he held several posts, including director of HRH Prince Hashem’s office and assistant chief of Royal Protocol.
