Ammon News - President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) Mashhoor Al Refai received Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Amman Mato Zeko and his deputy Armin Limo at the university and discussed the prospects for joint cooperation between PSUT and scientific research institutions and universities in Bosnia.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed cooperation in joint technological fields, signing agreements, participating in training programmes to raise the competency of graduates, research programmes, providing training opportunities for students, cultural exchange programmes, and applying for EU support for joint projects, according to a PSUT statement.
Refai affirmed the university’s keenness to realise the visions of HRH Princess Sumaya, chair of its board of trustees, in promoting networking and international cooperation with prestigious universities.
The ambassador praised the depth of relations between the two friendly countries, and the good academic reputation that the university enjoys in the region and the world.
He also commended its specialisations, especially information security and artificial intelligence programmes and technology-related engineering programmes, expressing hope for building bridges for future cooperation as a mutual service.
