Ammon News - The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) arrested four drug traffickers and seized 4 firearms and 81,000 narcotic pills, according to an official statement on Tuesday.

Spokesperson of the Public Security Department said that, in one case, the AND personnel tracked down a man suspected of trafficking narcotics based on a tip-off about his criminal activities. After confirming the truth of the tip-off, officers pulled over his vehicle, conducted a search and found 4 firearms and 6,000 narcotic pills, the spokesperson added.

In another case, 3 people were arrested in the capital, Amman, after attempting to smuggle 75,000 narcotic pills based on a separate tip-off.
