Ammon News - Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC) has co-launched the Higher Steering Committee for the Consulting Sector in partnership and coordination with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) within the public-private dialogue program.
According to a JCC press statement, the committee, which was launched on Wednesday, is chaired by the JCC's First Vice President and its representative for the consulting and services sector, Jamal Al-Rifai, and includes commerce representatives countrywide, Institute of Management Consultants and Trainers (IMC), Jordan Forum For Business & Professional Woman (JFBPW), and large, medium, small and micro companies.
The GIZ has developed a procedural action manual for the dialogue between Jordanian public and private sectors for the food, clothing, pharmaceutical, and advisory services sectors under the umbrella of Jordan commerce and industry chambers, the statement said.
The guidelines detailed a "clear" description of the steps and procedures that would lead the public-private partners to a "meaningful and constructive" dialogue that would necessarily produce policies in a bid to support work of Jordan's commercial, industrial and service sectors, the statement noted.
A questionnaire will be sent to the consulting sector workers countrywide to learn priorities and challenges facing the affiliated companies in a bid to take "appropriate" measures to address them, the statement said.
