Ammon News - Chairman of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI), Thafer Assaraira, on Monday discussed with Libyan Cultural Attache, Ahmed Dweik, frameworks for joint academic cooperation, especially academic accreditation, quality and the national framework for qualifications and classifications.
They also discussed promoting the transfer of expertise and successful experiences between all Arab and international higher education institutions, and benefiting from the accumulated experiences in the two brotherly countries.
Assaraira lauded the good relations between Jordan and Libya, and efforts of the Libyan Cultural Attaché to follow up on the conditions of Libyan students, stressing that Arab foreign students are the focus of attention and care by the AQACHEI.
For his part, Dweik expressed his admiration for the qualitative leap of Jordanian universities in the areas of developing accreditation and quality, and the distinguished scientific and educational position they enjoy regionally and globally, and the AQACHEI's interest in promoting its mission and vision in bringing higher education institutions to a high level of global competitiveness.
