The delegation includes WBG Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa, Ferid Belhaj, Dean of Board of Executive Directors, Mirza Hussain Hassan, and Regional Director for Middle East Department, Saroj Kumar Jha. The delegation’s visit will include a press conference to be held by the WBG officials at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation on Thursday, while the delegation will visit the Coronavirus vaccination center in the Sports City, and the National Aid Fund office in Jerash Governorate (northern Jordan), and will be briefed on the WBG’s projects in the governorate.

A delegation from the World Bank Group (WBG) is visiting the Kingdom on Wednesday to check on the WBG's projects in Jordan and to meet with officials to discuss the prospects for cooperation between Jordan and the Bank.
