Al Hussein Youth City on Saturday celebrated the centenary of the Jordanian state and the Independence Day.
"Reopening our sectors will be in accordance with the commitment to the health protocol related to protecting the city's members and visitors from infection with the Coronavirus (Covid-19), with the aim of reaching a safe summer," Youth Minister, Mohammad Nabulsi, said in a speech during the ceremony.
Nabulsi highlighted key plans that the ministry seeks to implement, including the establishment of a nucleus of sports and youth cities in all governorates of the Kingdom, similar to the Al-Hussein Youth City, and that work is underway to implement them.
Nabulsi pointed out that what was done today at the opening of a photo exhibition is to collect photos bearing the name of the late King Hussein bin Talal, since the establishment of the city and everything new over 50 years until recent years, in addition to visits of His Majesty King Abdullah to the city.
The celebration included a photo exhibition, which includes the establishment and development of the city, in addition to the opening of the city club for the summer season, and "aerobics" games, which are rhythmic sports, juggling games, "tele match" and taekwondo for the children of the city club, drawings for children, and honoring the oldest members of the city.
