Deputizing for Crown Prince, Education Minister attends 2021 Jordan Technology Champions ceremony

Deputizing for HRH Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, Minister of Education, Mohammad Abu Qudais, attended the 2021 Jordan Technology Champions ceremony, organized by Eureka Academy in cooperation with Al Hussein Technical University.

In his speech during the ceremony, Abu Qudais expressed his happiness to meet a distinguished and creative elite of students and their teachers on behalf of the Crown Prince, stressing the importance of such events that deal with creativity, which has become a feature of this era "especially as we are celebrating the centenary of the our Jordanian state."

He stressed "keenness of our school and university educational institutions to enable students to be creative and to root the culture of excellence in these institutions, leading to an innovative creative community in implementation of the royal directives aimed at empowering young people, unleashing their energies and refining their skills in various fields."

He lauded the great efforts of the Crown Prince and his keenness to do everything that would provide opportunities and provide an incubating environment to prepare a generation capable of thinking, creativity and excellence, pointing out to the many initiatives of His Highness in this field "leading to achievements we are witnessing in various aspects of developing and improving the education and learning environment based on creativity, excellence and innovation."

He said that the labor market is no longer limited to its demand to holders of a university qualification, but rather the competition has become in the level of possessing skills and the ability to create and excel, stressing that educational institution is aware of this, and seeks it with all its energies in partnership with relevant institutions.

The competition included 13 students, who are the top students of King Abdullah II Schools for Excellence in the fields of technology, where students who won the first three places as the Jordan Champions of Technology 2021 were honored with appreciation awards, honoring the top three schools and honoring the supervising teachers.
