Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Air traffic control at Queen Alia International Airport delayed the departure of three Royal Jordanian flights Wednesday night because of bad weather conditions and heavy fog.
The flights were supposed to depart to Khartoum, Bangkok, and Erbil, but low visibility increased the risk of air travel Wednesday night.
An official at AMM airport informed Ammon News of the delays and said that a Royal Jordanian flight arriving from Riyadh was rerouted to land in Marka Airport because of the weather conditions.
The flights are expected to depart at around 7 A.M. Thursday morning as the weather forecasts heavy fog to subdue and skies should clear allowing for safe travel.
