ASEZA, Swiss envoy discuss efforts to conserve Aqaba's eco-diversity

Ammon News - Chief Commissioner of Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZA), Nayef A.Bakheet, discussed on Wednesday, with the Swiss Ambassador in Amman, Lucas Jasser, cooperation in conducting studies on the diverse coral reef communities in the marine reserve in Gulf of Aqaba.

Speaking at the talks, Bakhit stressed the ASEZA's readiness to cooperate to unearth and conserve new coral types, and to protect the port city's marine environment from pollution.

In turn, the envoy praised the "distinguished" relations between the two friendly countries in all fields, stressing readiness to cooperate in conducting research aimed to conserve Aqaba's coral reefs and protect its marine environment.
